Congratulation for the success of 2nd International Conference and Workshop on Health (ICWH)

State Health Polytechnic of Malang (Polkesma) held International Seminar and Workshop of Health at Atria Malang Hotel . the theme of the event was Strengthening Preventive and Promotiven Efforts by Interprofesional Health Workers to Overcome Non-Communicable Disease Epidermic”. The two-days event was opened by Director of Polkesma, Mr. Budi Susatya, S.Kp, M.Kes  and attended by 551 participants and keynote speakers national and international.

The keynote speaker for the seminar was Mr. Sugiyanto, S.Pd, M.App.Sc, the head of Educational Center of Human Resources development (Ministry of Health).

The program was schedulled for Seminar and Simposium, presentation and Poster Exhibition. In the seminar, there were 5 presenter from five countires:

  1. Barakatun Nisak Mohd Yusof, Ph.D, from Putra Malaysia University, the theme for the seminar was Updated Medical Nutrition Therapy for Adult with Diabetes Type 2
  2. Hiromi Onbe, RN.PhD, Associate Professor at Public Healthbof Gunma University Japan the theme for the seminar was Updated Nursing Management for Adults with Diabetes Type 2
  3. Gayle McLayland, PhD, Med(I&CT) , Monash Univ. Australia the theme for the seminar was Simulated Birth in The Emergency Departement
  4. Mc Allen Reonel Sebastian “MARS” Sales Cocacho dari St. Paul Univ of Philippines the theme for the seminar was Health Information Management About Development of Health Information Management Technology/Applycation. Proper Disease Coding Based on ICD 9 & 10 And About Health Information
  5. Dr. Nur Rahman, State Health Polytechnic of Malang the theme for the seminar was Prospective Food for Cancer Prevention

The seminar run by Mr. Joko Wiyono S. Kep, M. Kep, Sp. Kom and received warm welcome form the participants and speakers. It is expected that in the future, the similar program will continue to run considering the fast development in health.
